The holy Lamb of God is seated on his throne Christ's saving work complete, and it cannot be undone I stand beside the peerless Son of God, not a stranger but a brother, held by the one who tasted death for all How fleeting is my fealty to my God; Why should rival kings enchant me? Why must their grasp contest the grace of God? My legs grow tired in chase; oh, why do I run? I search for what you've already given to me Oh, let me not forget: in Your hands rest victory And in you hands I find I have all that I need In Your glory, You are sovereign What is man that you're mindful of him? The radiance of God's glory is shown in Christ's face that all things will bow in humbled worship Who is our God that he's pursued us? Let all that we are strive after that rest!

Unlatched 04:01
Time starts, and it don't know when to stop And my feet are anchored to the floor All my life I've been searching for something to satisfy my restless mind You are the one to whom I will bow, though my inner cords try to break away But you have fashioned all my bones and you're sustained my every breath My image is derived from yours, and I am changed by the way that you still call my name despite my deepest flaws Ancient doors still come unlatched, and only you can turn the key By your blood you've swallowed time and brought me peace I adore you All my heart longs for is found in your love and only your love.

You formed me so long ago Before I had a chance to meet you, But you've known me through all these years You've been calling me toward your life You're the first and you are the last It was you who hovered over the waters And in the ugliness of who we can be You showed you'd do anything for me When you made yourself the least in this world of misguided thieves Who didn't know how to love, Who didn't know how good you are, Jesus You looked right at me when you forfeit the last of your life And took me upon your back You showed me that your love conquers death Father you, You're so good to me In the middle of our pain and fear When my anguish was as deep as the ocean You used the currents to bring me near enclosed my hurt in your boundless love You're holy; I love you so And in loving you I've found my purpose As your servant I'll ever be In your story I get set free Will you make me the least in this world of misguided thieves And teach us how to love And teach us how good you are, Jesus You looked right at me when you forfeit the last of your life, And took me upon your back You showed me that your love conquers death Father you, You're so good to me

I have nowhere to run I have nowhere to hide I have nothing at all my own When I felt far from you, When you couldn't be seen - I know now that you never left me Where can I go from you Spirit? Where can I run from your presence? You pursue me into the deepest sea How can I count every blessing? Everything's grace, and I believe that You will lead me into yourself evermore When I sit, when I rise You perceive my thoughts from afar Before a word leave my tongue, you know it completely On the wings of the dawn, on the far side of the sea Even there your hand will guide me You hem me in behind and before me You lay your hand upon me Where can I go from you Spirit? Where can I run from your presence? You pursue me into the deepest sea! How can I count every blessing? Everything's grace, and I believe that You will lead me into yourself evermore

That city looms; it's straight ahead It's where I hope to one day lay my head It has no sun, it needs no moon For it's light is you, and I know I was made for it That garden seems so familiar I cannot say if I've been there for sure But I know that I will be there soon, when you are known forever as the Lord of all I'm longing for those heavenly gates When I will sing your praise face to face You'll reign in power forevermore As your reclaimed people sing your grace So let us then cast off the dark; Our bodies are the temples of the Lord No worldly gain could ever compare And so we make our lives a sacrifice right here I'm longing for those heavenly gates When I will sing your praise face to face You'll reign in power forevermore As your reclaimed people sing your grace Praise the Lamb! He has covered all our sin His eternal love will hold by the power of his blood

Manna 05:27
The cloud of your glory leads us across the desert Though our bodies are hungry, we trust in your provision, Lord My trust finds rest in you, Father My trust finds its rest When our hearts wander from you, your kindness to us doesn't change Though our bodies are hungry, we trust in your provision, Lord There's more than enough at the table, There's more than enough And you say come in And you say come, sit You sing my name; You sing my name Give me fire in my bones, God My weakness is all I can feel Because I want what you've offered, but my body works against my will I don't understand all these mysteries, I don't understand I don't understand all your mysteries, I don't understand But they take me in; they take me in You sing my name; You sing my name And you give us manna

about

Creature & Creator proposes the hope of living truthfully in this life, and to reckon with the particular truth that we are derived from something—from Someone. Someone who is sovereign, holy, and good all once. How are we to understand this Creator? How are we to understand ourselves? The words of man, which strive after a great many things, often fail and fall short; but God’s words always strike true. And when our hearts hear him speak, his words never fail to change us.

Other thanks: My parents; you have always being ceaselessly supportive of me and my endeavors, Brad and Janet Chase for your home and love, Jake for your brotherhood and for being there is spirit when we did "Manna", Scott for your pedals and helpful input throughout, this last year's Evensong team, each of you are wonderful and tangible displays of the power of the gospel to me.
